Overview

The Trinity Certificate in TESOL is one of the world's most respected and sought after initial qualifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages. We currently offer courses in the following cities:

1. Hong Kong - Study in the heart of Hong Kong at our Sheung Wan Centre which is just 10 minutes walk from the the city's central business district.
3. Shanghai - Opportunities for English Teachers abound in this vibrant city. Our TESOL courses are held at Shane English School, on West Beijing Road. Shane offer guaranteed job placement for succesful trainees and subsidised course fees for trainees who go on to teach at a Shane school in China.

Shenzhen - With new English schools opening in every region of the city, qualified teachers are in more demand than ever. Courses are held at our SPEAK learning centre in Fu Tian district.

The Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a teaching qualification which will enable you to teach English to people whose first language is not English. If you seriously want to become an ESOL teacher and look for international job opportunities, you need a recognised qualification validated by an international examinations board.

Much of your future success will come from being able to develop skills acquired on the certificate course. By the end of the course you will be able to teach to the Trinity College standard. The Communicative Approach to teaching a foreign language provides a style which is keenly sought by students enrolling on English courses internationally. This methodology is recognised and promoted by the British Council.

The Trinity CertTESOL is registered with the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation as a course leading to a Non-local Higher Qualification. (Registration no. 250562).
