The Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a teaching qualification which will enable you to teach English to people whose first language is not English. If you seriously want to become an ESOL teacher and look for international job opportunities, you need a recognised qualification validated by an international examinations board. The Trinity Certificate in TESOL is one of the world's most respected and sought after initial qualifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
Much of your future success will come from being able to develop skills acquired on the certificate course. By the end of the course you will be able to teach to the Trinity College standard. The Communicative Approach to teaching a foreign language provides a style which is keenly sought by students enrolling on English courses internationally. This methodology is recognised and promoted by the British Council.
The Trinity CertTESOL is registered with the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation as a course leading to a Non-local Higher Qualification. (Registration no. 250562)
